Mpox Vaccinations
There are still cases of Mpox being diagnosed in the UK. We encourage vaccination if you are at risk. Most recent cases across Europe and the UK have been in gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (GBMSM).
You can get mpox through close personal contact with someone who has the infection, such as during sex.
Lanarkshire mpox vaccination clinics, for patients 1st or 2nd dose, are available on Monday 7th August and Tuesday 8th August 2023, between 08:30-19:30. Appointments will be held in Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, 1 O’Donnell Way, Motherwell, ML1 2TZ. These appointments are for Lanarkshire board residents only.
The easiest way to book an appointment is via the online booking system and when asked what type of appointment you would like, select;
- Service: Vaccinations
- Sub-service: MPOX
