Young People Clinics are walk-in. Register before the last hour of the clinic – late arrivals may not be seen.
Children with Additional Support Needs
Children with additional support needs are just like any other children, but they may need a little more support to understand concepts such as “public” and “private”, appropriate behaviours and signs of abuse. The NSPCC has a great video clip and booklet called the PANTS rule, which is useful for all children.
The new National Relationships, Sexual Health and Parenthood (RSHP) school resource is suitable for mainstream children but also for children with mild to moderate additional support needs. As well as being used by teachers in a school setting, information and activities can also be used by parents, carers and other professionals by accessing the website: rshp.scot/
