SHBBV
The Sexual Health and Blood Borne Virus Framework (SHBBV), first published by the Scottish Government in August 2011 and updated in September 2015, brought together the policy areas around sexual health and blood-borne viruses, namely human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis C virus (HCV), and hepatitis B virus (HBV).
The framework supports improvements in sexual health and wellbeing and addresses the impact of blood-borne virus infections in Scotland. This is based on a multi-agency partnership working to address a number of recommendations and also through the monitoring of high-level outcomes.

The current framework was due to run from 2015-2020, however, this has been delayed due to the ongoing Coronavirus pressures. The new framework is now due to be published in 2022 and in the interim, the Scottish Government has published a Reset and Rebuild Recovery Plan.
